2024 Returning Student Re-Registration

This form is for Returning Private Lesson students only. If you are new to Private Instrument  Lessons at SMA, please use the Private Lesson Registration form. If you want to apply for one of our group courses, please use the Workshop or Group Program Registration form. If you are looking to enroll your child in a Preschool Music program please complete the Preschool Program Registration form. Application Guidelines

This form is for CURRENT students of the Sharon Music Academy who wish to re-register for the next school year during our May-August enrollment period. If you are a new student, please fill out the Private Lesson Registration form.

  1. Sharon Music Academy has an open enrollment – you can join our Academy at any time.
  2. We will make every effort to accommodate your busy schedule. Please list all days of the week and times when you are able to take lessons. For better-matching results, specify periods as wide as possible, i.e., 9 am - 11 am and 6 pm-8 pm. While setting your availability to take lessons, please consider the schedules of the other activities a student is involved in. It is very difficult and sometimes impossible to change the lesson time during the school year, though we promise to make every effort to do so.
  3. If you are enrolling several students and prefer them to have lessons either at the same time, back to back, or on different days, please indicate it in the “Special Requests and Comments” field.
  4. Fall re-registrations will be processed after receipt of the registration fee.
  5. Payment for the semester must be received at least one week in advance of the first lesson of the semester to keep an assigned slot.

We have the most flexibility with scheduling and special requests if you enroll between May 15th and August 2nd. Outside this period, we will make every effort to accommodate you, but we can’t guarantee it. The schedule is compiled on a "first come, first serve" principle - please re-register as soon as possible.

Please remember that re-registrations are not processed until SMA receives the correct registration fee.

Please mark all the weeks when student(s) is available to take lessons. If student's teacher is not available during some of these weeks, we often may have a substitute.

Please list all days of the week and times when you are able to take lessons (see guidelines).

Please check all the acceptable lesson formats. You can specify your preference in the "Special Requests, Comments" box below.

Please list the instruments that you have experience with followed by the amount of experience [i.e Violin - 5 years; Piano - 2 years]

Please include a link to a YouTube video of one of you playing your primary instrument to help us determine your skill level.
