Education: Dr. Beriyeva received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Arizona, Master of Music and post Masters performance degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, as well as the Bachelors degree with high honors from the University of Arizona.

Bio

Dr. Beriyeva received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Arizona, Master of Music and post Masters performance degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, as well as the Bachelors degree with high honors from the University of Arizona. Originally from Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, Dr. Beiryeva has attended special music school for gifted students as well as Tbilisi State Concervatory. Yelizaveta has won several prestigious competitions in the area of former USSR and in the United States, some of which include New England Conservatory Piano Sonata Competition, the East Coast Chamber Music Competition, the Green Valley Piano Competition, University of Arizona President’s Concerto Competition and Tucson Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Competition. Dr. Beriyeva has performed at many well-known concert halls such as the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall, Tucson Symphony Orchestra Hall and Leo Rich Theatre. Yelizaveta has been Dr. Beiryeva has extensive teaching experience. Some of her previous teaching poistions include group piano instructor at the University of Arizona, teaching assistant at the New England Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Professor Alexander Korsantia, piano/music theory instructor at St. Peter and Paul Catholic School, piano instructor at Sharon Music Academy as well as maintaing a large private piano teaching studio. Yelizaveta has been a long time member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and has served as a vice president and honors society chair for the MTNA chapter in Tucson, Arizona.
