Nicholas Mosca

Education: He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Performance and Theory of Jazz and Popular Song, where he studied under world-renowned musicians such as Bill Pierce, Shannon Leclaire and Greg Hopkins and was a Recipient of the Jimmy Mosher Scholarship.

Bio

Nick is a multi-instrumentalist based in the Boston area. Born into a musical family, Nick first started playing saxophone at the age of 9 and began performing with his father. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Performance and Theory of Jazz and Popular Song, where he studied under world-renowned musicians such as Bill Pierce, Shannon Leclaire and Greg Hopkins and was a Recipient of the Jimmy Mosher Scholarship.  Nick has performed at venues all over the east coast including Twins Jazz Club in Washington D.C., Jazz Education Network Conference in Louisville and Scullers Jazz Club in Boston. Currently a member of several local groups, Nick hopes to spread the joy of live music and creativity to everyone in the local community and beyond. His teaching experience include tutoring Berklee students in Contemporary Harmony, Ear Training, Counterpoint, Classical Harmony. Nick is CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) Tutor Level 2 certified.
