Morgen Heissenbeuttel is a graduate of Valparaiso University (BM/BA ‘22) studying with Katharina Uhde and Boston University (MM ‘25) studying with Minju Kim and has extensive teaching and performance experience. As a performer, Morgen has attended Roundtop Music Festival, the National Orchestral Institute + Festival, Berlin Opera Academy, Brevard Music Center, and Festival del Lago. She enjoys both chamber music and orchestral performance and is an advocate for diverse and accessible live music performances. She currently performs with various New England orchestras, including the New Bedford Symphony, Atlantic Symphony, Cape Symphony, Boston Chamber Symphony, and Portsmouth Symphony. Morgen is also passionate about early music performance practice and enjoys freelancing on baroque violin in Boston and the Midwest and worked last summer for Boston Early Music Festival as an arts administrator. At Boston Music Project, she teaches three orchestra ensembles as director at the Mendell, JFK, and Hurley Boston Public School programs.
