Education: Kristina earned a dual Bachelor's Degree in Violin Performance & Music Education from Ithaca College and holds a Masters's Degree in Violin Performance from Penn State University.

Bio

Kristina Sharra is a proud alum of Sharon Music Academy. She gained a love for violin and developed her skills as a performer and musician at SMA, where she was exposed to excellent teachers, chamber music, competitions, and performance opportunities to hone her talents. After her time at SMA, she studied with pedagogues including Bonnie Bewick Brown, Peter Zazofsky, Susan Waterbury, and James Lyon. Ms. Sharra is an active educator and performer - regularly performing with the Cambridge Chamber Ensemble and has performed with orchestras like the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra, Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra, and Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. She first began teaching students as a private instructor when she was just 13 years old and has been doing so ever since!
