Bio

Tommaso Lorenzon began his violin studies at the age of eight under the mentorship of Maestro Ermanno Agostini and soon joined a youth orchestra led by Ms. Svetlana Pletneva, performing regularly as both soloist and concertmaster. These early experiences sparked his deep love for orchestral playing. He later refined his technique and repertoire with distinguished teachers, including Mr. Roberto Baraldi, Ms. Myriam Dal Don, and Mr. Gianaldo Tatone—members of the renowned Orchestra La Fenice in Venice.

Tommaso earned his Bachelor of Music degree summa cum laude from the Conservatory of Padua, studying with Mr. Gianluca Baruffa. He also pursued advanced training at the Fondazione Musicale Santa Cecilia with Mr. Ilya Grubert and completed his Master’s degree in Violin Performance under Mr. Giuliano Fontanella in 2024.

Now a student in the Graduate Performance Diploma program at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Tommaso continues his studies with Mr. Markus Placci while participating in masterclasses with Mr. Yevgeny Kutik, Mr. Michael Lewin, Mr. Jonathan Bass, and Mr. Wendy Richman. A passionate advocate for both orchestral and chamber music, Tommaso has studied with Mr. Leon Spierer and the Trio di Parma, and brings a wealth of both European and American traditions, performance experience, and dedication to his teaching.
