Taiwanese-American pianist Sandy Lin is an international soloist, chamber musician, and vocal collaborator committed to sharing her passion and love for music. Sandy made her New York City debut in 2012 as one of the winners of the New York Concert Artist competition with the NYCA Symphony Orchestra under maestro Eduard Zilberkant and has since then performed frequently in the United States, Asia, and Europe, both as a soloist and in vocal and instrumental collaborations. She is also a laureate of the Cœur d’Alene Young Artist Competition, the Vivo International Music Competition, the International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition, and the Jeunesses International Music Competition. In 2020 she was selected to participate in Renée Fleming’s SongStudio at Carnegie Hall. In the last few years, Sandy has been an Associate Instructor at Indiana University, coaching students of various disciplines. She is currently a faculty member at SongFest, a summer festival focused on Art Song. And since 2011, Sandy has taught piano to students of various ages and levels, in both Mandarin and English.
