Education: Qing Li holds her bachelor’s degree from Eastman School of Music with professor Nelita True and Dr. Marina Lomazov. She earned her master’s degree and professional study certificate from the Manhattan School of Music at professor Jeffrey Cohen’s studio. Qing is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Boston University School of Music with professor Pavel Nerssessian and working as a non-major piano lesson teacher at Boston University.

Bio

As a soloist, Qing is actively giving recitals on stage from the U.S., Italy, and China; she also worked with several orchestras, including Hunan Symphony Orchestra and Huanghe Symphony Orchestra.

Growing up in a music family (both her parents are music teachers), Qing Li started piano training at four and teaching at sixteen. She started her teaching career in the USA in 2015. With professional pedagogy training received, her students are varied from total beginners to advanced-level amateurs. Qing had teaching experiences with all ages in both Mandarin and English. Besides piano lessons, Ms. Qing also teaches music theory and sight-reading skills.
