Performance You Should Not Miss

Many piano students of Sharon Music Academy had a chance to meet Nicolai Lomov. This wonderful pianist has been giving master classes at Sharon Music Academy for many years and many students and parents have learnt to appreciate his deep understanding of music, his virtuoso playing and his ability to clearly explain all nuances of complex music pieces. It is always a pleasure to watch Nikolai teaching and even a greater pleasure to listen to his performance. This year Nicolai Lomov turns 60 and he will celebrate his 45 years on world music stage with a concert at Edward M. Pickman Concert Hall at Longy School of Music. This is a performance you should not miss. It is a treat for the whole family. Please join us on April 7th at 7:30 pm in the celebration of his wonderful achievement. Limited amount of tickets are available at Sharon Music Academy.  You can read more about Nicolai Lomov, his extraordinary talent, career and life by browsing many articles dedicated to him.

Performing with the Bristol Chamber Orchestra

For many years Sharon Music Academy offered its students the rare opportunity to perform with the Bristol Chamber Orchestra – a wonderful team of professional musicians. Performing with a professional orchestra is an unforgettable experience for a young musician that will stay with a child for the whole life. The Bristol Chamber Orchestra is a non-profit music organization. Its existence relies on donations and volunteer work of many dedicated people. That’s why every year Sharon Music Academy organizes a fundraising concert for the benefit of the BCO. This year this fundraising concert will be held on April 2nd at 2:30 PM at Sharon Music Academy. Come and join us for an afternoon of exquisite music performed by members of the BCO, faculty members and students of Sharon Music Academy, mingle with musicians and enjoy home-made cookies and refreshments. Please donate as much as you feel comfortable. All your donations are tax deductible and Sharon Music Academy will match your contribution. Even if your child is just a beginner and would not play with the BCO this year, your support will guarantee that he or she will have this opportunity in the future. We hope to see you at the concert.
