SMA at the "Life is Good" Festival

We were so happy to be invited to participate in "Life is Good" Festival to raise funds for LIG Kids Foundation. This annual event brings thousands of people to Blue Hill in Canton, MA. Hundreds of kids and adults passed through Sharon Music Academy tent and lightened their day with music. Pictures from this event are published on our Facebook page.

Congratulations to our winners

In June many of our students participated in various music competitions. Sabrina Zhang has won the 1st place ($225) for the Best Performance of the Chinese piece at the 25th Young Artists Competition in Washington, DC. Angelique Scully has been awarded the 1st place at the First Kenneth A. Darrel Piano Competition. For the complete list of our students’ achievements please visit our Hall of Fame page.

2010 International Young Promise Festival and Competition

Many students of the Sharon Music Academy took part in this remarkable multicultural event. Carnatic trio (Maya Jay, Dheekshita Kumar , Divya Muthusamy) showcased an art of Southern Indian singing at the Festival’s Opening Night. Others participated in the competition and successfully represented local music culture by winning various awards and prizes

Bringing Music To the Community

Every year students of the Sharon Music Academy give several public concerts sharing their love of music with local community. In May and June our students performed at North Hill Nursing Home, Stony Brook Court Senior Housing and Beech Tree Park at Lake Massapoag.
