About Sharon Music Academy

Since 1990, the Sharon Music Academy has been teaching music on the South Shore. Under the direction of its Music Director and founder, Tanya Schwartzman, Sharon Music Academy has earned its reputation of one of the best Massachusetts music school. This reputation is based on the high quality of music education, achievements of our students, our participation in the life of our community and satisfaction of parents, who see how our teaching brings out the best in their children. Among our students are winners of local, national and international competitions, CEOs and plumbers, retirees and toddlers. And for all our students, regardless of age or level, we offer a personalized approach that helps them find their own road into a wonderful world of music.

Sharon Music Academy and its students have been featured many times in Boston Globe, Sharon Advocate, Canton Journal and many other local newspapers. Concerts and recitals of the Sharon Music Academy are broadcast by local TV stations. Our instructors are well known in the field and are graduates of the world's best music colleges and conservatories. Many of our faculty members are actively performing artists and could be often seen on local and national stages. We are proud members of New England Piano Teachers' Association, Massachusetts Music Teachers Association and European Piano Teachers Association. Our master classes are conducted by the world's best performing artists. We also collaborate with many musical professional and educational organizations and individuals through our wide Music Network .

Our Academy has about two hundred students and is one of the largest local music school. We do not believe we are the best because we’re the largest. Instead, we believe we’re the largest because community thinks we are the best. Students from 23 local communities come to learn music at our Academy.
